Drones shall be recognizable by everybody when flying
RESEIWE provides a Wi-Fi based Drone ID enabling everybody with a smartphone to read the Drone ID (“License plate”)
Case: A drone is flying on a legal mission (e.g. an environmental observation). Some people thinks the drone is violating their privacy, and they want to check what is going on.
With a RESEIWE Drone ID attached to the drone, the people on the ground can read the ID on their standard smartphone with an app installed. The drone continuously reports the position to a tracking database accessible by the Aviation Control authorities (and other authorities like the police).
When the people contact the police to report the possible violation of their privacy, the police can immediately see that the mission is legal. In case a violation took place during the mission, the police has the necessary documentation when contacting the owner of the drone.
